Rooftop Packaged Units

Rooftop Packaged air conditioners are designed and manufactured to meet the all-in-one solutions for large halls, warehouses, supermarkets, shopping centers, stations & airports etc.

Optimal temperature & humidity, air purification & proper ventilation are essential factors to ensure occupancy of these areas for both users & operators, regardless of external conditions. Fresh air is even more crucial for commercial catering to control odours & vapours.

Also in technical facilities ventilation & air-conditioning are often essential for the correct operation of the equipment they contain.

Despite there apparently low cost Split system & Multisplit direct expansion systems have lot of limitations in this application. For example they require a separate system for the treatment of the primary air. The pipes that contains the refrigerant cross the served rooms and therefore they are subjected to restrictions & have limitations. Many Rooftop unit present in the market offer evident simplification of the system.

Modern rooftop packaged units comes with plenty of customization option which makes it very versatile product in air-conditioner & ventilation segment.

• Fresh Air Intake : For applications where you need to keep the room in over-pressure, with the option of controlling a particular fresh air flow. The supply fan section provides the supply and return available static pressure.
• Energy recovery: The unit is equipped with an exhaust section with thermodynamic energy recovery of the exhaust air. This air, which is still rich in energy, is mixed with the outdoor air improving the heating and cooling capacity.
• High efficiency Air Filtration: Customization can be done with use of high efficiency filter options available in the market such as High efficiency F class Filters, Electronic Filters, UV Filters, Hepa filters etc.

• Humidification & Dehumidification: For application where humidity level has to be maintained, a Humidifier & dehumidifiers can be installed in supply air path. Electric heater, gas burners hot water coil for pre heat & reheat function can be selected.
• Anticorrosion Treatment: The rooftop package air conditioners with special anti-corrosion treatment are suitable for seaside areas or the areas exposed to acidic substances. Special anti-corrosion treatment of heat exchanger provides 5 to 6 times greater resistance against acid rain and salt corrosion.
• Multiple Air flow directions: User can select supply & return duct inlet/outlet from either side of the unit as per the convenience of installation which makes this unit super feasible.

How Rooftop Units Works:

• The Compressor, condenser, refrigerant piping, EXV & evaporator cooling coil housed in single cabinet will function same as the general vapor compression refrigeration cycle.
• The Return air from the space will mixed with fresh outside air in mixing chamber & then it will be filtered, cooled or heated, dehumidified or humidified in evaporator chamber of the unit.
• This processed cooled/heated air then pushed by evaporator fan towards space to be treated by means of ducting connected at the supply air outlet of the unit. The return air from the space then brought back to the unit via return air ducts & cycle continues.
